Campaign VHF
A large contingent of the Fire Caste responsible for surveying and purging only the most harsh-conditioned environment planets that other sects of the Tau Empire would be unable to survive (let alone succeed). Of all the 'Greater Good' branches of military, Campaign VHF has the least amount of contact with the central planets of the Tau Empire; one could remain from birth to death within the Tau homeworlds and never live to see these wayward warriors. Many of the actions of these Tau have been condemned openly by the Ethereal Caste in the past and thus the Ethereals themselves rarely accompany them during off-world battles. Despite the fact that many Vespids and Kroot have fought at their side, Campaign VHF has long been known to lend their firepower to the renegade Commander O'Shovah and his 'Farsight' Enclaves.
